Repeat

281. She came home from work. Her son was loading up his car. She asked, "What are you doing?" He said, "I'm moving out." She said, "This is sort of sudden, isn't it?" He said he had been laid off that morning. She said, "Well, that's too bad. But you can find another job around here, can't you?" He said, "Mom, I grew up here. I went to school here. I've had a few jobs here. I think losing this job is a sign. It's telling me it's time. It's time to move on and move up. My future is elsewhere. I'm moving to the big city." She said, "Well, that sounds nice. Jacksonville is only 60 miles away. You can come home every weekend." He said, "Mom, when I say 'the big city,' I don't mean Jacksonville, Florida. I mean New York City, New York!" She couldn't stop the tears. 1.0
