Talking Dictionary571. Doctor, Heel Yourself

Repeat

Marty was in a waiting room at the foot clinic. It was his first visit with Dr. Bunyan. A man entered the room. He was wearing jeans and a green, short–sleeve scrubs shirt. The name of the clinic was on the shirt. The man smiled and said. "Hi. What can I do for you today?" Marty thought, Well, for starters, you could introduce yourself. He said. "And your name is?" The man looked surprised. His smile disappeared. He said."I'm Dr. Bunyan." The doctor's charm went out the window. He was now all business. He became condescending. He answered many of Marty's questions by beginning with the words."I said?." Finally, Marty said. "Would you please stop talking down to me? I may be 60 years old, but my IQ isn't 60." The doctor chuckled. He said."You're right. I'm sorry. We got off on the wrong foot, didn't we?"
